One of the prob­lems for man­u­fac­tur­ers, deal­ers, and con­sumers with the Taka­ta airbag recall is con­fu­sion over which vehi­cles are actu­al­ly affect­ed. Of course, for many of us, our par­tic­u­lar inter­est in the issue relates to how it will affect the pric­ing of used vehi­cles. One issue with the poten­tial to have a major impact on the used vehi­cle mar­ket are the stop-sell direc­tives being issued to their fran­chised deal­ers by OEMs.
