DMEAutomotive Study Sheds Light on Consumer Used Car Shopping

Car shop­pers are whit­tling down their deal­er­ship car shop­ping expe­ri­ences. More than a third of used-car buy­ers said in a recent sur­vey by DMEau­to­mo­tive that they vis­it­ed just one deal­er­ship before pur­chas­ing their cars. Twen­ty per­cent of used vehi­cle buy­ers stopped by two stores, 19% vis­it­ed three deal­er­ships, and 5% didn’t step foot in any store. The study also found that used car buy­ers are not that inter­est­ed in test dri­ving cars while shop­ping.
