Stricter 2025 Gas Mileage Rules Can Save $7,300

As a result of man­dat­ed ris­ing fuel econ­o­my stan­dards that are to be achieved by 2025, con­sumers are pro­ject­ed to save $7,300 in fuel costs with the future vehi­cles rather than cur­rent vehi­cles. Accord­ing to a Con­sumer Reports study, the cost to meet the 54.5 Cor­po­rate Aver­age Fuel Econ­o­my stan­dard for 2025 cars will be less than $2,000 per vehi­cle.
