While it may seem like a no brain­er, it pays to make wise deci­sions at the gas pump. Choos­ing gas sen­si­bly can add miles per gal­lon to fuel econ­o­my, and pro­tect your engine. Dif­fer­ences in octane lev­el and the amount of ethanol added to gaso­line can have a neg­a­tive effect on fuel econ­o­my and emis­sions. In addi­tion, using bad gas could even void the manufacturer’s war­ran­ty.
