Max­i­miz­ing pro­duc­tiv­i­ty is the pri­ma­ry con­cern for 44% of fleet man­agers who over­see their company’s truck fleets who were recent­ly sur­veyed by GE Cap­i­tal Fleet Ser­vices. Along with max­i­miz­ing oper­at­ing effi­cien­cy, addi­tion­al con­cerns include meet­ing cost sav­ing goals (24%) and under­stand­ing the impact of new vehi­cle tech­nolo­gies, such as alter­na­tive fuel vehi­cles (20%). Match­ing the right truck for the job is their sin­gle most impor­tant area of focus in max­i­miz­ing fleet pro­duc­tiv­i­ty for 29% of respon­dents.
