OEMs Take Fleet Questions in ‘Fireside Chat’ at NAFA I&E

Fleets make up a sig­nif­i­cant per­cent­age of auto sales and man­u­fac­tur­ers rec­og­nize the impor­tance of the mar­ket.  NAFA Fleet Man­age­ment Asso­ci­a­tion will offer fleet man­agers the oppor­tu­ni­ty to have their ques­tions answered direct­ly by rep­re­sen­ta­tives of the Detroit 3 (Ford, Chrysler, and Gen­er­al Motors) dur­ing a spe­cial OEM “Fire­side Chat” at NAFA’s 2013 Insti­tute & Expo in Atlantic City this April.

The group dis­cus­sion, which takes place the morn­ing of Wednes­day, April 24, includes John Rup­pert of Ford, Jim Sas­sorossi of Chrysler, and Ed Peper of Gen­er­al MotorsIncom­ing NAFA Pres­i­dent Claude Mas­ters, CAFM, will mod­er­ate, large­ly focus­ing on ques­tions sup­plied from a sur­vey of NAFA’s mem­ber­ship in March.

“Ques­tions pro­vid­ed to us by NAFA Mem­bers touched on top­ics such as alter­na­tive fuels, meet­ing future MPG require­ments, and safe­ty items,” said NAFA’s Exec­u­tive Direc­tor, Phillip E. Rus­so, CAE.  “Fleet pro­fes­sion­als are espe­cial­ly inter­est­ed in whether or not the OEM’s will offer more small/midsize (under 5750 GVWR) vehi­cles in the near future and if order-to-deliv­er times can be reduced.” Learn more
