GM’s Business Elite Program Offers Customers Extensive Service Offerings

Gen­er­al Motors has launched the Busi­ness Elite pro­gram, which will be avail­able to com­mer­cial buy­ers through the GM deal­er net­work at 469 loca­tions nation­wide – and ser­vice depart­ments are part of the offer­ing. Busi­ness Elite is tar­get­ed to com­mer­cial cus­tomers that own one to 100 vehi­cles. They’ll be offered a diverse line­up of com­mer­cial vehi­cles avail­able in stock, GM said. Sales con­sul­tants will be on hand to assist trans­ac­tions, and they have spe­cial­ized knowl­edge in com­mer­cial prod­ucts. Anoth­er fea­ture being mar­ket­ed to busi­ness cus­tomers is a two year, 30,000-mile main­te­nance plan and cash allowance for vehi­cle acces­sories or upfits.

Busi­ness cus­tomers will have access to 24-hour tow­ing, loan­er vehi­cles, pri­or­i­ty ser­vice and shop hours, and financ­ing and resale assis­tance through Busi­ness Elite ser­vice depart­ments. “We asked our cus­tomers what they want and need from their com­mer­cial vehi­cle provider and we redesigned our busi­ness mod­el around their feed­back,” said Ed Peper, U.S. vice pres­i­dent of Fleet and Com­mer­cial Sales. “Our deal­er­ships have embraced the increased require­ments and we have a record num­ber of par­tic­i­pat­ing deal­ers meet­ing the strict qual­i­fi­ca­tions.”
