General Motors has launched the Business Elite program, which will be available to commercial buyers through the GM dealer network at 469 locations nationwide – and service departments are part of the offering. Business Elite is targeted to commercial customers that own one to 100 vehicles. They’ll be offered a diverse lineup of commercial vehicles available in stock, GM said. Sales consultants will be on hand to assist transactions, and they have specialized knowledge in commercial products. Another feature being marketed to business customers is a two year, 30,000-mile maintenance plan and cash allowance for vehicle accessories or upfits.
Business customers will have access to 24-hour towing, loaner vehicles, priority service and shop hours, and financing and resale assistance through Business Elite service departments. “We asked our customers what they want and need from their commercial vehicle provider and we redesigned our business model around their feedback,” said Ed Peper, U.S. vice president of Fleet and Commercial Sales. “Our dealerships have embraced the increased requirements and we have a record number of participating dealers meeting the strict qualifications.”
