TrueCar Forecasts November Car Sales

“Novem­ber was a strong month for new car sales…,” said Jesse Toprak, senior ana­lyst for TrueCar.com, pushed along by Hur­ri­cane Sandy.

Check out TrueCar’s expect­ed sales per­cent­ages.

  • For Novem­ber 2012, new light vehi­cle sales in the U.S. (includ­ing fleet) is expect­ed to be 1,120,088 units, up 12.7 per­cent from Novem­ber 2011 and up 2.6 per­cent from Octo­ber 2012 (on an unad­just­ed basis)
  • The Novem­ber 2012 fore­cast trans­lates into a Sea­son­al­ly Adjust­ed Annu­al­ized Rate (“SAAR”) of 15.2 mil­lion new car sales, up from 13.5 mil­lion in Novem­ber 2011 and up from 14.3 mil­lion in Octo­ber 2012
  • Retail sales are up 13.1 per­cent com­pared to Novem­ber 2011 and up 6.3 per­cent from Octo­ber 201
