Chrysler’s Ram 1500 Declared “Truck of Texas”

Texas Auto Writ­ers Asso­ci­a­tion, has named Chrysler’s Ram 1500 “Truck of Texas”.

The group, which is made up of auto­mo­tive writ­ers and review­ers from Texas, also gave its award for “Lux­u­ry Pick­up Truck of Texas” to the Ram 1500 Laramie Edi­tion.

Mem­bers of the asso­ci­a­tion eval­u­at­ed the Ram and com­pet­ing mod­els in the group’s annu­al “Texas Truck Rodeo” and named Ram “Truck Line of Texas”

More than 50 asso­ci­a­tion mem­bers eval­u­at­ed more than 60 pick­ups, SUVs and crossover vehi­cles in two days of test­ing.

“Texas is Ram’s biggest mar­ket and we’ve worked relent­less­ly to build pow­er­ful trucks with best-in-class fuel econ­o­my and capa­bil­i­ty for our cus­tomers,” said Ram Truck Pres­i­dent, Fred Diaz.
