The Changing World of Buy Here, Pay Here Today

The Nation­al Alliance of Buy Here Pay Here Deal­ers (NABD) East Coast Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH) Con­fer­ence will be held Octo­ber 21–23 at the Atlanta, Geor­gia Inter­na­tion­al Con­ven­tion Cen­ter (GICC).

The agen­da will focus on the numer­ous new devel­op­ments occur­ring in the BHPH indus­try, and the con­fer­ence theme is appro­pri­ate­ly enti­tled, “The Chang­ing World of BHPH Today!” says Ken Shil­son, NABD Pres­i­dent and Con­fer­ence Chair­man.

“New oper­a­tors are enter­ing the BHPH indus­try in sig­nif­i­cant num­bers. These new oper­a­tors need to under­stand how to cap­i­tal­ize on the prof­it oppor­tu­ni­ties and avoid the pit­falls. Tri­al and error mis­takes will cost them mil­lions of dol­lars,” Shil­son indi­cates.

Twelve work­shops will fea­ture lead­ing experts and oper­a­tors and cov­er top­ics includ­ing a legal and reg­u­la­to­ry Q&A, cap­i­tal, find­ing good cus­tomers, an IRS audit update, a leas­ing update, new tech­nolo­gies, pay­ment devices, hir­ing the best peo­ple and pay plans, alter­na­tive repay­ment strate­gies, CPI and ser­vice con­tracts, acquir­ing and recon­di­tion­ing the right vehi­cles, max­i­miz­ing recov­er­ies, inter­net best prac­tices, advanced skip trac­ing and much more.

Speak­ers and pre­sen­ters include lead­ing invest­ment banker John Nagy; attor­neys Tom Hud­son and bank­rupt­cy expert Den­nis Levine, D.J. Har­ring­ton and oth­er nation­al­ly-rec­og­nized experts.
