For May, NADA is pre­dict­ing that prices rel­a­tive to April will be down by a mod­est 0.6% due pri­mar­i­ly to a slight sea­son­al con­trac­tion in demand. NADA expects used prices in June will fall by 0.4% from May’s expect­ed lev­el,

Although NADA Adjust­ed Annu­al Fore­cast Down Slight­ly:
Still expect prices to grow by 1% through end of year (vehi­cles up to 5 years in age).

Gaso­line Prices Should Remain at Ele­vat­ed Lev­els through Sum­mer:
Con­tin­ue to ben­e­fit used com­pact and mid-size car prices, and down­ward pres­sure to truck prices.

Auc­tion­Net Whole­sale Prices Improved Again in April:
Result in line w/ NADA’s pre­dic­tion that used prices would peak dur­ing mid­dle of month.
