GE Capital Fleet Study: Lower Fleet Car Maintenance Costs in 2011

GE Capital Fleet Services Press Release

In its 17th annual Passenger Car Fleet Maintenance study, GE Capital Fleet Services found average car maintenance costs in 2011 fell four percent, from $55.89 to $53.49 per vehicle per month. Key factors contributing to the decline include a trend toward less frequent oil changes that stabilized preventative maintenance costs, decreased average tire expenses, and improvement in overall vehicle quality.
