Automaker Incentives Decrease as Sales Increase - May 13, 2012

It’s the old mea­sur­ing stick of sup­ply and demand, when it comes to automak­er incen­tives – strong new-car sales allows car­mak­ers to rein in their incen­tive spend­ing. New-car sales incen­tives aver­aged $2,071 in April, down 2.2 per­cent from March and 1.8 per­cent less than last April.
