Ford Sees Bright Future in its Electric Car Plans

The New York Times - October 12, 2009

Ford’s new director of global electrification expects 10–25% of new car sales by 2020 to be electric as hybrids, plug-in hybrids and battery-electric cars. The expected rollout of Transit Connect battery version scheduled for 2010, Focus-based battery version planned for 2011, and Escape plug-in hybrid planned for 2012 could make the prediction good.
