GM Again Attempts Sale of Medium-Duty Truck Business


GM is nego­ti­at­ing with diesel engine part­ner Isuzu to sell its medi­um-duty truck divi­sion after fail­ing to do so to Nav­is­tar Inter­na­tion­al ear­li­er. Sale of this and oth­er assets is part of GM’s attempt to raise $5B cash and restruc­ture to meet its fed­er­al loan require­ments by Feb. 17.
