Global Automakers Lead Charge in China

While news about the automobile market in the U.S. seems to get worse with each passing month, sales in China continue to grow. In March several automakers set sales records in China, and the first quarter was up 21% over the first quarter of 2007. These sales gains were powered by global automakers. All this despite rising inflation and a troubled Chinese stock market.
