Farley Promoted at Ford, Even Before He Arrives

Ford’s new glob­al chief mar­ket­ing offi­cer, Jim Far­ley, is arriv­ing at a crit­i­cal time. Sales con­tin­ue to slide even as pro­duc­tion seems to have sta­bi­lized for the short term. Now Mr. Far­ley will take on the addi­tion­al role of head of North Amer­i­can mar­ket­ing, sales, and ser­vice from the retir­ing Cis­co Cod­i­na. In his new role, Mr. Far­ley will report to Mark Fields.
