A grass roots effort is need­ed to insist on com­mer­cial fleet adop­tion of alter­na­tive fuels. With com­pelling buy­ing pow­er, vol­ume pur­chas­ing by fleets would accel­er­ate the tech­nol­o­gy and reduce the costs of alter­na­tive fuel vehi­cles.
