Pickups Saw Much Better Month than Fuel-efficient Vehicles

Auc­tion val­ues declined a mod­est 1.2% in June led by declines in val­ues of fuel-efficient vehi­cles. Pickup trucks saw a good month and were among the best per­form­ing seg­ments over­all with nearly no depre­ci­a­tion for the month. Val­ues should con­tinue to decline nearly 1% per month through summer.

Com­pact and Mid-size Lux­ury Util­ity Vehi­cle Lead­ing Indus­try in Retained Value:
Lead­ing at 72.4% of MSRP, and 4 of 6 lux­ury seg­ments higher than indus­try aver­age of 62.5%.
