Auto Part Supplier Pleads Guilty to Price Scheme

A 10th auto sup­pli­er has decid­ed to plead guilty and pay $19 mil­lion in crim­i­nal fines in a wide-reach­ing gov­ern­ment inves­ti­ga­tion into price-fix­ing and bid-rig­ging in the auto parts indus­try. The case is only time where the gov­ern­ment iden­ti­fied that a US automak­er, Ford Motor Co., was sold parts through the scheme, the Jus­tice Depart­ment said.
