Stricter 2025 Gas Mileage Rules Can Save $7,300

As a result of mandated rising fuel economy standards that are to be achieved by 2025, consumers are projected to save $7,300 in fuel costs with the future vehicles rather than current vehicles. According to a Consumer Reports study, the cost to meet the 54.5 Corporate Average Fuel Economy standard for 2025 cars will be less than $2,000 per vehicle.
