The NHTSA are determining whether almost 400,00 General Motors vehicles should be included to two recalls of about 7,000 cars because of an airbag defect. The scope of the ban currently includes various GM models. The NHTSA said GM may not have pinpointed the cause of the problem, so it will see if the recall needs expansion.
