While it may seem like a no brainer, it pays to make wise decisions at the gas pump. Choosing gas sensibly can add miles per gallon to fuel economy, and protect your engine. Differences in octane level and the amount of ethanol added to gasoline can have a negative effect on fuel economy and emissions. In addition, using bad gas could even void the manufacturer’s warranty.
