Dalum Takes GTA Helm, NTEA 2013 Fleet Purchasing Outlook Available

Joe Dalum Named Pres­i­dent of Green Truck Asso­ci­a­tion
Joe Dalum, Pres­i­dent and Chief Exec­u­tive Offi­cer of Wauke­sha based Odyne Sys­tems, LLC, a lead­ing man­u­fac­turer of hybrid sys­tems for medium and heavy duty trucks, was elected Pres­i­dent of the Green Truck Asso­ci­a­tion (GTA), an affil­i­ate of the National Truck­ing Equip­ment Asso­ci­a­tion (NTEA) dur­ing the annual Board meet­ing held in Indi­anapo­lis, IN, March 7. Dalum had most recently served as Vice Pres­i­dent of the GTA.

NTEA has just released its 2013 Fleet Pur­chas­ing Out­look. Based on sur­vey results from 287 mid– to high-level man­age­ment fleet pro­fes­sion­als with decision-making author­ity for truck acqui­si­tions or vehi­cle spec­i­fi­ca­tions, the Out­look pro­vides insights on crit­i­cal fac­tors that influ­ence buy­ing behav­ior from a broad range of fleet sizes, vehi­cle weight range classes and voca­tional truck applications.
