Echo Automotive Adding to Fleet Services through Meineke Service Center Agreement

Echo Auto­mo­tive, Inc., a devel­op­er of tech­nolo­gies enabling the cost effec­tive con­ver­sion of exist­ing fleet vehi­cles into fuel effi­cient hybrids, signed an agree­ment with Meineke Car Care Cen­ters, Inc. to serve as a nation­al ser­vice cen­ter and installer for Echo Auto­mo­tive sys­tems. There are approx­i­mate­ly 900 Meineke fran­chis­es through­out the Unit­ed States, Cana­da, Mex­i­co, Brazil, Chi­na, Sau­di Ara­bia and the Caribbean. Meineke fran­chisees have ser­viced more than 50,000,000 vehi­cles since 1972, and has been rec­og­nized by the Amer­i­can Asso­ci­a­tion of Fran­chisees & Deal­ers and Entre­pre­neur Magazine’s Annu­al Fran­chise 500.

Some of the rea­son the alliance has come togeth­er:

1. Meineke Car Care Cen­ters is pro­vid­ing some of the need­ed ser­vices Echo Auto­mo­tive needs to best serve fleet cus­tomers – instal­la­tion, ser­vice, inspec­tion, and repairs of Echo Auto­mo­tive prod­ucts.
2. The rela­tion­ship with Meineke assists Echo Auto­mo­tive scale its busi­ness through the sup­port of high­ly rec­og­nized and respect­ed nation­al ser­vice provider and is a tan­gi­ble advan­tage that Echo Auto­mo­tive can offer its fleet cus­tomers.
3. Echo Auto­mo­tive is focused on the impor­tance of hav­ing key ven­dor rela­tion­ships as part of its busi­ness plan.
4. Echo Auto­mo­tive devel­ops tech­nolo­gies and prod­ucts designed for cost effec­tive con­ver­sion of exist­ing vehi­cles into high­ly fuel-effi­cient hybrids and plug-in hybrids. The com­pa­ny says that the key to its strat­e­gy is the bolt-on nature of its solu­tion that intro­duces lit­tle or, in some cas­es, no addi­tion­al points of fail­ure, mak­ing it very low risk com­pared to com­pet­ing solu­tions.
