Consumer Reports - December 28, 2013

What is the new year bringing in for vehicle safety laws? A few differences but nothing dramatically new. NHTSA has again delayed adoption of rear visibility rules for all new vehicles sold. Maine will strengthen its teen graduated driver licensing law to extend the intermediate phase of driving when teens cannot drive passengers or drive at night. Overall, distracted driving laws are slowing down in 2013.
