As deal­er­ship war­ran­ty busi­ness con­tin­ues to decline, deal­er Ser­vice Depart­ments nation­wide hope to keep cus­tomers com­ing back by sell­ing more main­te­nance con­tracts and offer­ing oth­er goods and ser­vices, such as dis­count­ed tires and express oil changes. But they are also stay­ing open on Sat­ur­days and reach­ing out to cus­tomers through social media and dig­i­tal mar­ket­ing to keep cus­tomers in-house over inde­pen­dent ser­vice shops.
