Chrysler, Kia Do Well in California

California auto sales were up 22.6 percent for the first half of the year, compared with a 14.6 percent rise nationwide in the same period. Chrysler brand vehicles rose 198 percent in the first half of 2012, the biggest brand increase of any retailer, with a 35.4 percent boost for Chrysler’s Jeep brand, followed by a 62 percent rise for Kia.
