Traffic Jams

Detroit News - February 26, 2012

Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford, Jr. projects ahead, as global sales rise, to a time when a world population of 9 billion people, and the transportation needed, could present huge traffic jams in major cities around the world. The solution lies in telecommunications technology, including “platooning” of cars that drive themselves, says Ford, and tremendous input made by urban planners in a “congested urbanized world.”
