GM defines the 80 mil­lion poten­tial car-buy­ers in the U.S. — those between 18 and 24 years of age — as mil­len­ni­als, a “tough sell” and labeled a group reluc­tant to pur­chase any­thing, much less some­thing as cost­ly as a vehi­cle. They’d rather com­mu­ni­cate online than trans­port them­selves phys­i­cal­ly, but automak­er PR peo­ple are doing their best to find out what will bring them into show­rooms.
