An auto­mo­tive after­mar­ket trade group has launched “Sup­pli­er Eval­u­a­tion Stan­dards” to help com­bat low-qual­i­ty parts. The goal is to help com­pa­nies and resellers “know their parts” and pro­tect cus­tomers and after­mar­ket rep­u­ta­tion.
