Toyota recognizes that the future of the car market depends on technology that uses little or no petroleum so they continue to invest heavily in advanced technology. The automaker just rolled out its 3rd-generation Prius and a new Lexus HS250h hybrid. Toyota plans a plug-in hybrid-electric vehicle this year, an electric vehicle in 2012, and hydrogen-powered car in 2015.
