GM Dealers To Get More Control of Ad Creativity


Gen­er­al Motors has lis­tened to its deal­ers and is revamp­ing the con­cept of deal­er adver­tis­ing asso­ci­a­tions. The automak­er is scrap­ping Local Mar­ket­ing Groups. Begin­ning in April LMGs will be replaced with Local Mar­ket­ing Asso­ci­a­tions that will address deal­ers’ biggest griev­ance, cre­ativ­i­ty. GM will spend more adver­tis­ing dol­lars to help deal­ers go dig­i­tal.
